Rolex Oyster Perpetual 31, reference 277200-0009, measures 31 mm across in steel. The case has a domed bezel and a screw-down crown, with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal over the candy pink dial. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2232, a Rolex manufacture movement with a power reserve of around 55 hours, certified as a chronometer. Central seconds mark the time along with luminous hands and indices for legibility in low light. The dial's hour markers sit on a lacquered pink surface applied in six layers for depth of colour. A steel Oyster bracelet with three-piece solid links closes with a folding Oysterclasp. The screw-down crown, with its Twinlock double waterproofness system, helps hold the case to its 100 metre water resistance rating.
