Rolex Lady-Datejust 28 mm

Rolex's Lady-Datejust 28 mm, reference 279178-0026, is cased in 18 ct yellow gold with a 28 mm diameter. The fluted bezel is gold, a Rolex signature detail rather than a functional one on this piece. A sapphire crystal covers the dial with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 2236, a self-winding chronometer movement with 55 hours of power reserve. The white mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds, and the watch carries central seconds and date functions along with a screw-down crown. It is fitted to a Jubilee bracelet in yellow gold with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down crown helps hold the case to its 100 metre water resistance rating.
