Rolex Lady-Datejust 28 mm

The Rolex Lady-Datejust 28mm, reference 279178-0015, has a 28 mm case in yellow gold. The fluted bezel is a Rolex signature detail, originally functional and now purely decorative. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, and the silver dial is set with diamonds in gold settings. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a chronometer-certified movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The watch shows the date and central seconds, and the crown screws down against the case. It comes on a President bracelet in yellow gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to a depth of 100 metres.
