The Rolex Lady-Datejust 28 mm, reference 279178-0005, comes in 18 ct yellow gold with a case measuring 28 mm across. The fluted bezel is gold, giving the case a defined edge, and a Cyclops lens sits over the date on the sapphire crystal. Inside is calibre 2236, a self-winding chronometer movement with a Syloxi hairspring and around 55 hours of power reserve. The silver dial carries central seconds and a date display, and a screw-down crown protects the movement from moisture. The gold President bracelet closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp, finished to match the case. Rolex certifies this piece as a Superlative Chronometer. The case is waterproof to 100 metres.
