Rolex Lady-Datejust 28 mm

The Rolex Lady-Datejust 28 mm, reference 279171-0014, has a 28 mm case in steel and gold. The fluted bezel is executed in gold, and a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date. The white mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds, each stone held in an 18 ct gold setting. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a chronometer-certified movement with a Syloxi hairspring and a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The screw-down crown uses Rolex's Twinlock system, and the watch shows the date alongside central seconds. It is fitted on a steel and gold bracelet with a folding Oysterclasp and an Easylink comfort extension link. The screw-down crown alone accounts for the case's 100 metre water resistance rating.
