Rolex Lady-Datejust 28 mm, reference 279171-0012, measures 28 mm across in a case of steel and gold. The case carries a fluted bezel in gold and holds a chocolate dial set with diamonds under a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 2236, a self-winding chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Rolex certifies it as a Superlative Chronometer, and the screw-down crown reinforces the case construction. Central seconds and a date function complete the display. The bracelet is steel and gold, fitted with a folding Oysterclasp that includes an Easylink comfort extension link. That same clasp keeps the case sealed to a rating of 100 metres.
