Rolex Lady-Datejust 28 mm, reference 279163-0014, measures 28 mm across in steel and gold. The case has a domed bezel and a screw-down crown, and the dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. The white mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds, giving each example its own natural variation in colour and structure. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Functions are limited to centre seconds and an instantaneous date, kept deliberately simple for the size of the case. The steel and gold Oyster bracelet closes with a folding Oysterclasp fitted with the Easylink comfort extension link. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres.
