Rolex Lady-Datejust 28 mm

Rolex's Lady-Datejust 28 mm, reference 279160-0009, is a 28 mm case in steel. The domed bezel and dark grey sunray dial sit under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 2236, a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, certified as a chronometer. The dial carries luminous hands and indices along with a central seconds display and date function, and the screw-down crown adds a further layer of protection. This is a Rolex dive watch's technical cousin in dress form, built on the same Oyster architecture. The steel bracelet closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance reaches 100 metres, a figure the screw-down, Twinlock crown helps maintain.
