Rolex Explorer II 226570-0001 is a 42 mm steel GMT watch built for orientation in low light or continuous daylight. The case measures 42 mm across and carries a fixed, graduated bezel paired with a screw-down crown. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date. Inside is the calibre 3285, a self-winding movement with GMT function and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours; Rolex certifies it as a Superlative Chronometer. The white dial has luminous hands and indices, and an orange hand tracks the second time zone alongside the central seconds and date.
