Rolex Explorer 40 mm

The Rolex Explorer 40 mm, reference 224270-0001, is a steel watch with a case measuring 40 mm across. The monobloc middle case has a smooth bezel and pairs with a screw-down winding crown for added security. A self-winding Perpetual movement, calibre 3230, powers the watch and delivers approximately 70 hours of power reserve; Rolex certifies it as a Superlative Chronometer. The black dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and shows luminous hands and indices for legibility in low light. Central seconds round out the display functions. The Oyster bracelet in steel closes with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp that includes an Easylink comfort extension link.
