The case carries a fluted bezel in gold and a white lacquered dial, with the date magnified under a Cyclops lens on the sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 3235, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of around 70 hours and Rolex's Superlative Chronometer certification. The screw-down crown adds to the watch's security, and centre seconds join the date as the main functions on display. This is a dress watch built for daily wear rather than sport.
