Rolex Datejust 36 mm

The Rolex Datejust 36 mm, reference 126234-0038, is cased in steel and white gold. The case measures 36 mm across and stands 11.7 mm thick, with a fluted gold bezel that sets it apart from the plain-bezel versions. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date window. The bright blue dial is set with diamonds, applied in 18 ct gold settings, and the seconds run from a central hand. Inside is the calibre 3235, a self-winding movement certified as a Superlative Chronometer, giving around 70 hours of power reserve. The screw-down crown backs up the steel Oyster bracelet, which closes with a folding Oysterclasp fitted with the Easylink comfort extension link. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres of water resistance.
