Rolex Datejust 36 126231-0022 measures 36 mm across in steel and gold. The case stands 11.7 mm thick and carries a fluted bezel in gold, a Rolex signature detail. The white mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds, and a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date. Inside is the self-winding calibre 3235, a Rolex manufacture movement certified as a chronometer with a power reserve of about 70 hours. The screw-down crown protects the movement, and central seconds run alongside the date function. A steel and gold Oyster bracelet closes with a folding Oysterclasp fitted with the Easylink comfort extension link. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres of water resistance.
