A sapphire crystal covers the dial, with a Cyclops lens set over the date. The movement is the self-winding calibre 3235, a chronometer with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, and the display includes a central seconds hand and date function. Rolex fits the piece with a screw-down crown for added security. The bracelet is steel and gold on an Oyster design, closed with a folding Oysterclasp that includes an Easylink comfort extension link.
