Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278343RBR-0028, has a case in steel and gold measuring 31 mm across. The domed bezel is set with diamonds, and the white mother-of-pearl dial is also set with diamonds, protected by a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 2236, a self-winding movement with a 55-hour power reserve, certified as a chronometer. A screw-down crown adds a further layer of security to the case. The date and central seconds functions are both present, practical rather than ornamental against the gem-set dial. The bracelet is steel and gold, fitted with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The case carries a 100 metre water resistance rating.
