Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278289RBR-0021, comes in an 18 ct white gold case measuring 31 mm across. A diamond-set bezel surrounds a silver dial that is itself set with diamonds, viewed through a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The watch shows central seconds and a date display, and the screw-down crown adds a further layer of protection. As a chronometer, it carries Rolex's official timing certification. The case is fitted to a President bracelet in white gold, closed with a concealed folding Crownclasp. That same crown, together with the case construction, keeps water resistance at 100 metres.
