Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278289RBR-0019, in 18 ct white gold measures 31 mm across. The case follows Rolex's Oyster architecture, with a monobloc middle case and screw-down back and crown, and the dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. The bezel is diamond-set, and the aubergine dial itself is set with diamonds, including a large VI marked out with 11 stones. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a Rolex chronometer movement with 55 hours of power reserve. The watch shows central seconds and an instantaneous date. It is fitted to a President bracelet in white gold, closed with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres of water resistance.
