Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278288RBR-0007, is cased in 18 ct yellow gold measuring 31 mm across. The bezel is diamond-set, and a Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The olive green dial is set with diamonds in gold settings. Inside is calibre 2236, a self-winding movement with a Syloxi hairspring in silicon and Paraflex shock absorbers, certified as a Superlative Chronometer with approximately 55 hours of power reserve. The watch shows a central seconds hand and an instantaneous date alongside a screw-down crown. It runs on the President bracelet in matching yellow gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. That same crown, part of the Twinlock system, keeps the case waterproof to 100 metres.
