Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278285RBR-0008, is cast in 18 ct rose gold with a diamond-set bezel. The case measures 31 mm across and carries a screw-down crown, part of the Twinlock waterproofness system. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, and the watch is set with diamonds. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a Rolex manufacture movement certified as a Superlative Chronometer, with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Functions include a centre seconds hand and an instantaneous date, shown against a white dial. The rose gold President bracelet, with its semi-circular three-piece links, closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp in the same metal. It stays water resistant to a depth of 100 metres.
