Rolex's Datejust 31 mm reference 278278-0049 comes in 18 ct yellow gold with a case measuring 31 mm across. The fluted bezel is a Rolex signature detail cast in the same gold. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, and the screw-down crown adds to the case's security. The red ombré dial is set with diamonds, deepening from colour at the centre to black at the edge. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a chronometer-certified movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours.
