Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278274-0028, has a case of steel and gold measuring 31 mm across. A fluted bezel in gold tops the dark grey dial, which is set with diamonds and viewed through a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. The self-winding calibre 2236, a Rolex manufacture movement, drives the watch and carries a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Rolex certifies it as a chronometer. Central seconds and a date display complete the functions, and a screw-down crown seals the case. The dial sits on a steel bracelet closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance reaches 100 metres, courtesy of that screw-down crown and the monobloc case construction.
