The fluted bezel in gold sits atop the case, and a Cyclops lens over the date magnifies the calendar window beneath the sapphire crystal. The mint green dial carries luminous hands and indices along with a central seconds hand, and the date function is set instantaneously via the screw-down crown. Inside runs the calibre 2236, a self-winding chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. This is a chronometer, certified for accuracy after casing. The steel bracelet closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp in steel and gold. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres.
