Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278274-0011, is cased in steel and gold with a 31 mm diameter. The fluted bezel is gold, a detail Rolex has used as a signature across the Datejust line. Under the sapphire crystal, which carries a Cyclops lens over the date, sits a silver dial with luminous hands and indices. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a Rolex manufacture movement certified as a chronometer, with a power reserve of around 55 hours. The watch shows the date and central seconds, and the crown is a screw-down type for added security. It is fitted to a steel Oyster bracelet with a folding Oysterclasp that includes the Easylink comfort extension link. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres of water resistance.
