The dial is white mother-of-pearl set with diamonds, finished with a Cyclops lens over the date on the sapphire crystal, and framed by a fluted bezel. Inside is the Perpetual calibre 2236, a self-winding chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The screw-down crown adds to the watch's practical, everyday-wearable character. Central seconds and an instantaneous date round out the display. The steel and gold bracelet closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres of water resistance.
