Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278271-0027, comes in a 31 mm case of steel and gold. The fluted bezel is gold, a Rolex signature carried over from earlier Datejust models. A Cyclops lens over the date sits on the sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 2236, a self-winding movement with a 55-hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer certification. The chocolate dial is set with diamonds, held in 18 ct gold settings, and the watch keeps a central seconds display alongside the date. A screw-down crown protects the movement. The steel and gold bracelet closes with a folding Oysterclasp fitted with the Easylink comfort extension link, and the case carries a 100 metre water resistance rating.
