The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278271-0002, has a case in steel and gold measuring 31 mm across. The case carries a fluted bezel and a screw-down crown, and the date sits beneath a Cyclops lens on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a Rolex manufacture movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The white dial shows a central seconds hand and a date display, and the watch is certified as a chronometer. It is paired with a bracelet in steel and gold fitted with a concealed folding clasp.
