The case has a domed bezel and a screw-down crown, with a Cyclops lens over the date set into the sapphire crystal. The champagne dial is set with diamonds in 18 ct gold settings, giving the piece a quiet formality on the wrist. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a Rolex manufacture movement with a Syloxi hairspring and around 55 hours of power reserve, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. Central seconds and an instantaneous date round out the display functions. The bracelet is steel and gold Oyster, fitted with a folding Oysterclasp that includes the Easylink comfort extension link. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres.
