Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31, reference 278243-0013, has a 31 mm case in steel and gold. A domed bezel tops the case, and the champagne-colour dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is calibre 2236, a self-winding movement with a 55-hour power reserve and Rolex's own chronometer certification. The screw-down crown protects the movement and central seconds hand, and the date function is set out clearly at three o'clock. A steel and gold Oyster bracelet closes with a folding Oysterclasp that includes the Easylink comfort extension link. The screw-down crown also helps hold the case to its 100 metre water resistance rating.
