Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278243-0004, comes in steel and yellow gold and measures 31 mm across. The case carries a domed bezel and a screw-down crown, and the dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 2236, a self-winding Manufacture movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and the watch carries chronometer certification. The silver dial is set with diamonds, and the date and central seconds functions are both present. A steel and gold bracelet is fitted with a concealed folding Crownclasp. This being a chronometer, timekeeping is certified after casing. The screw-down crown helps hold the case to its 100 metre water resistance rating.
