The domed bezel tops a case built around the self-winding calibre 2236, a Rolex manufacture movement with a Syloxi hairspring and a power reserve of about 55 hours. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the sapphire crystal, magnifying it above the white mother-of-pearl dial set with diamonds. The watch is a chronometer, certified after casing, and the date function includes rapid setting alongside a central seconds hand. A screw-down crown protects the movement from moisture and dust. The steel and gold bracelet closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance reaches 100 metres, backed by the screw-down crown's double waterproofness system.
