Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278241-0020, is cased in 31 mm of steel and gold. The domed bezel tops a case fitted with a screw-down crown, and the dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. The aubergine dial is set with diamonds, and the sunray finish gives it a subtle shift in tone depending on the light. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a chronometer-certified movement with a power reserve of around 55 hours. Central seconds and a date display round out the functions. The bracelet is a five-piece Jubilee in matching steel and gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. The case holds a 100 metre water resistance rating.
