Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278241-0006, cased in steel and gold with a 31 mm diameter. The case wears a domed bezel and a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 2236, a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, certified as a chronometer. The screw-down crown protects the movement and works alongside the display of a running seconds hand and instantaneous date. This example carries a rosé-colour dial matched to a bracelet in steel and gold, fitted with a concealed folding clasp. As a chronometer, the movement has passed testing beyond standard requirements. The concealed clasp closes over a case that Rolex rates to 100 metres.
