Rolex Datejust 31 mm

The Rolex Datejust 31, reference 278241-0002, has a 31 mm case in steel and gold. The case carries a domed bezel and a screw-down crown, and the dial sits beneath a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the self-winding calibre 2236, a Rolex manufacture movement with a power reserve of around 55 hours. This is a chronometer, certified for accuracy after casing, and it shows the date alongside central seconds. The white dial pairs with a bracelet in steel and gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Small and formal, the watch reads well on a narrow wrist without losing legibility. Water resistance reaches 100 metres, courtesy of the screw-down crown's double waterproofness system.
