Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278240-0007, has a 31 mm Oystersteel case with a domed bezel. The pink dial is fitted with a sapphire crystal and a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 2236, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours, and Rolex certifies the watch as a chronometer. Hands and indices are luminous, and a screw-down crown adds a further layer of protection. The date sits alongside a central seconds display, both driven from the same movement. An Oyster bracelet in steel closes with a folding Oysterclasp fitted with the Easylink comfort extension link. The screw-down crown helps hold water resistance to 100 metres.
