Rolex Datejust 31 mm, reference 278240-0006, has a steel case measuring 31 mm across. The case carries a domed bezel and sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 2236, a perpetual, mechanical, self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. The silver dial has luminous hands and indices, and the movement carries chronometer certification. A central seconds hand and a screw-down crown round out the functional details. The watch is fitted to a steel bracelet closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance reaches 100 metres, and the screw-down crown helps maintain that rating.
