Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 40 mm

The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 126598TBR-0001, a chronograph in 18 ct yellow gold, measures 40 mm across and 11.9 mm thick. The case is monobloc with a screw-down back and a Triplock crown, and the golden dial, set with diamonds, sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The bezel is diamond-set with trapeze-cut stones in place of the usual tachymeter scale. Inside is calibre 4131, a self-winding chronograph movement with a small seconds display and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours; Rolex certifies it as a Superlative Chronometer. Hands and indices carry luminous treatment for legibility. The watch is fitted to an 18 ct yellow gold Oyster bracelet with a folding Oysterlock clasp and Easylink extension link. Water resistance tops out at 100 metres, thanks in part to that Triplock crown.
