Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 40 mm

Rolex's Cosmograph Daytona ref. 126579RBR-0001 is a 40 mm chronograph in white gold. The case measures 11.9 mm thick, with a 20 mm lug width, and the bezel is set with diamonds in place of the usual tachymetric scale. A sapphire crystal covers the black and white mother-of-pearl dial, itself set with diamonds. Inside is the calibre 4131, a self-winding chronograph movement with a 72-hour power reserve, and the watch carries chronometer certification along with small seconds and luminous hands and indices. The screw-down crown adds a further layer of security to the case. An Oyster bracelet in white gold closes with a folding Oysterlock clasp with Easylink extension. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres of water resistance.
