Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 40 mm

The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 126508-0005 is a chronograph in 18 ct yellow gold with a case measuring 40 mm across and 11.9 mm thick. The fixed bezel carries an engraved tachymetric scale in the same gold, sitting beneath a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Inside is the manufacture calibre 4131, a self-winding chronograph movement with a power reserve of approximately 72 hours and chronometer certification. The golden dial has contrasting black counter rings and small seconds at six o'clock, with luminous hands and indices for legibility. Chronograph functions run through centre seconds with the familiar two-counter layout for elapsed minutes and hours. The watch is fitted with a yellow gold Oyster bracelet closed by a folding Oysterlock clasp with a comfort extension link. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres.
