Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 40 mm

Rolex's Cosmograph Daytona 126508-0004 is a 40 mm chronograph in yellow gold, built for the racetrack rather than just named for it. The case measures 11.9 mm thick and carries a fixed yellow gold bezel with an engraved tachymetric scale. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal covers the black dial, which shows golden counter rings and luminous hands and indices. Inside is the self-winding calibre 4131, a manufacture movement with a small seconds subdial and chronograph functions, certified as a Superlative Chronometer with 72 hours of power reserve. An 18 ct yellow gold Oyster bracelet closes with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and comfort extension link. The screw-down Triplock crown seals the case to a depth of 100 metres.
