Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 40 mm

The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 126508-0001, a chronograph in 18 ct yellow gold, measures 40 mm across and 11.9 mm thick. The fixed bezel carries an engraved tachymetric scale, and the case is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding calibre 4131, a manufacture movement certified as a chronometer with a 72-hour power reserve. The white dial has golden counter rings, small seconds, and luminous hands and indices for legibility. Chronograph functions run through a 30-minute counter and a 12-hour counter alongside the centre seconds hand. An Oyster bracelet in matching yellow gold closes with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp fitted with an Easylink comfort extension. Rolex rates the case waterproof to 100 metres.
