Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 40 mm

The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 126506-0001 is a 40 mm chronograph in platinum. The case measures 11.9 mm thick, with a monobloc middle case and screw-down back. It carries a chestnut brown Cerachrom ceramic bezel with a tachymetric scale, moulded with numerals and graduations, set beneath a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The ice blue dial shows contrasting chestnut brown counter rings, with luminous hands and indices for legibility. Inside is the self-winding calibre 4131, a manufacture movement offering approximately 72 hours of power reserve and chronometer certification. The screw-down crown works with the Triplock system, and the transparent case back shows the movement. Fitted to a platinum Oyster bracelet with a folding Oysterlock clasp and Easylink extension link, the watch is waterproof to 100 metres.
