The Longines Flagship Classic, reference L4.984.4.97.6, has a 40 mm round case in steel. The watch is set with diamonds. Case dimensions include a thickness of 8.7 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 47 mm; water resistance is rated to 30 metres. Self-winding calibre L888.5 has up to 72 hours of power reserve and is visible through a transparent case back. Polished silvered hands indicate the hours and minutes on the sunray blue dial. A steel bracelet closes with a triple safety folding clasp and a push-piece opening mechanism. Over the dial is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, with several layers of anti-reflective coating on the underside.
