Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Date, reference Q9128981, uses a 40 mm steel case. The case measures 12.9 mm thick, with a 20 mm lug width, a display back and 200 metres of water resistance. Its graduated blue lacquered dial has luminous numerals and hour-markers, baton hands with luminous tips, a date display and sunburst, grained and opaline finishes. A blue canvas strap uses quick-release technology and closes with a steel double folding clasp. Self-winding calibre 899 runs at 4 Hz, equivalent to 28800 vibrations per hour, and provides a 70-hour power reserve. The calibre comprises 218 components, 32 jewels and one barrel.
