The IWC Schaffhausen Portugieser Hand-Wound Tourbillon, reference IW545801, has a 42.4 mm case in 18 ct Armor Gold. The case measures 10.8 mm thick and contains a silver-plated dial beneath a convex sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides. IWC rates the case to 60 metres of water resistance. The manual-winding IWC-manufactured calibre 81905 provides 84 hours of power reserve. Its tourbillon includes a hacking mechanism, and a sapphire crystal in the caseback reveals the movement. The calibre comprises 159 components and 20 jewels, with Côtes de Genève and Perlage decoration. A black alligator leather strap by Santoni measures 22 mm at the lugs.
