The IWC Portugieser Automatic, reference IW500114, has a 42.3 mm steel case. The case is 14.1 mm thick; self-winding calibre 51011 has a 168-hour power reserve, 42 jewels and 326 components. The silver dial, covered by convex sapphire glass with antireflective coating on both sides, has a date display, small hacking seconds and a power reserve indicator. The case's water-resistance rating is 30 metres. The watch has a see-through case back. The rotor has an 18-carat gold medallion. A black alligator leather strap measuring 22 mm wide is on the watch.
