The IWC Schaffhausen Portofino Automatic, reference IW356523, has a 40 mm stainless steel case measuring 9.2 mm thick. A convex sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides covers the blue dial. The display combines central hacking seconds with a date display. The self-winding mechanical movement is the calibre 35111, which provides 50 hours of power reserve and runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour. IWC rates the watch to 30 metres of water resistance. A black alligator leather strap is fitted at the 20 mm lugs. The movement uses 25 jewels.
