The IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII, reference IW327009, has a 40 mm steel case. A screw-down crown is set into the case, which measures 11 mm thick. The black dial has a date display and central hacking seconds beneath convex sapphire glass with antireflective coating on both sides, and the glass is secured against displacement by a drop in air pressure. The watch is on a black calf leather strap, 20 mm wide. A water-resistance rating of 60 metres applies to the case. The movement's operating frequency is 28,800 vibrations per hour.
