The IWC Schaffhausen Ingenieur Automatic 40, reference IW328902, has a stainless steel case measuring 40 mm across and 10.7 mm thick. A self-winding IWC-manufactured movement, calibre 32111, drives the watch and holds a power reserve of 120 hours. The silver-plated dial sits under a convex sapphire crystal with antireflective coating on both sides. Central seconds and a date display are set on the dial, and the crown screws down against the case. The case carries a rating of 100 metres. A steel bracelet is fitted to the watch.
