Cartier's Tank Américaine, reference WGTA0300, has a yellow gold 750/1000 case measuring 24.4 x 44.4 mm. The rectangular case is 8.6 mm thick, and this is the large model. The movement is a self-winding mechanical type with a 39 hour power reserve. A sapphire crystal covers the silvered satin-brushed dial. Blued-steel sword-shaped hands show hours and minutes. The yellow gold crown is faceted and set with a faceted sapphire. Cartier rates the case to 30 metres. A semi-matte navy blue alligator leather strap is fitted to the watch, with an interchangeable yellow gold folding buckle.
