The Santos de Cartier W2SA0006 has a 39.8 x 47.5 mm square case in steel with an 18K yellow gold bezel. The case is 9.38 mm thick. The movement is the self-winding calibre 1847 MC, with a 40 hour power reserve. The silvered opaline dial carries blued-steel sword-shaped hands and sits under a sapphire crystal. The watch has central seconds and a date. The 7-sided crown is set with a faceted synthetic spinel. Cartier rates the case to 100 metres. A steel bracelet with the SmartLink adjustment system is fitted to the watch.
